1) In June 2019, Atlas Copco has acquired a Pennsylvania-based distributor of compressors, namely, Taylor Air Center. The company has around 20 employees and is located within the densely populated Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania in the US.
2) Seimens was awarded a contract to provide 3 residue compression trains (compressors) for two, 250 million standard cubic feet per day cryogenic gas plants in the Delaware Basin. Each train consists of a 22,000 horsepower (hp) motor, gearbox, and multi-stage Dresser-Rand DATUM centrifugal compressor, all mounted onto a single skid—the compressors, motors, and drives. The scheduled commissioning of this plant would be done in the second half of 2020.
