About In-built Storage Set-top Boxes
STBs are used to improve picture quality, store videos, and to enhance the viewing experience. STBs, when attached to a TV, receive unencrypted subscribed channels through an addressable system for viewing encrypted channels. They connect a TV to an external signal source and convert the transmitted signal into video content, which is then displayed on the screen.
