Philippines SME Survey 2014: Communications Usage and Preferences
This IDC study identifies the adoption and usage trends of communications technology and services such as UC, video, WAN, and managed data network services of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Philippines using the results from the IDC Asia/Pacific (Excluding Japan) Communications Study 2014. The results of this study will help technology providers understand the impact of new technologies such as cloud, SDN, NFV, and analytics on SMEs' networks and business.
"SMEs prefer telco SPs the most when it comes to the delivery of new technologies and collaboration tools. Having said that, their role is important to reduce the doubts of SMEs operating in traditional business. They need to beef up their offerings and learn new ways to productize them to enable SMEs to move beyond the realization stage," said Alon Anthony Rejano, associate market analyst, IDC Philippines.
