Respiratory disposable products are used in conjunction with a variety of respiratory devices, including ventilators, nebulizers and oxygen therapy products, to interface the device with the patient. The respiratory disposables analyzed in this chapter are oxygen cannula, oxygen masks, tracheostomy tubes and resuscitators. They are used by patients that suffer from chronic respiratory disease, such as asthma, cystic fibrosis, emphysema and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
