The Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of Cameroon (MoEWR) is planning to build a hydropower plant on the Menchum River in Northwest Region, Cameroon.
The project involves the construction of a 72MW hydropower plant. It includes the construction of a powerhouse, control rooms, a substation, a dam and related infrastructure, the installation of generators, turbines and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
