Enfinity is undertaking the construction of Thuan Nam and Ninh Phuoc Wind Farm project in Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam.
The project involves the construction of a 124.5MW wind farm on a 553ha land. It includes the construction of powerhouse, substation, transmission line, the installation of generator, wind turbines and related facilities.
The project is planned to develop in three phases: the first phase includes installing of six wind turbines with the combined capacity of 20MW, the second phase includes 14 additional wind turbines with the combined capacity of 46MW and the third phase includes 18 additional wind turbines with the capacity of 60MW.
In March 2011, the company received planning consent for the project from the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
Vietnam Wind Power Construction Consulting (VIWICO) has been appointed as study consultant for the project. The scope of the contract covers preparing investment for construction, implementation of the survey, preparing the feasibility study and environmental impact assessment reports.
The project got investment certificate from Department of Planning and Investment of Ninh Thuan.
The project is expected to receive all the necessary approvals by February 2018 from he Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on its feasibility study.
The first phase is expected to complete installation in February 2019, second phase by June 2019 and third phase by September 2019. The entire project is expected to complete by 2021.
