On February 26, 2016, PSAPPL submitted a pre-feasibility report (PFR) to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change of India (MEFCC).
On December 8, 2016, MEFCC held an expert appraisal committee (EAC) meeting on the project.
Planning activities are underway.Subject to the approvals, construction works are scheduled to take two years to complete.
