The project involves the construction of a 45-story, 154m-high condominium tower comprising 451 units on 0.11ha of land. The proposed building will see the Grand Hotel and its existing 13-story tower preserved on the site south of Dundas Street but transformed in as part of a 45-story tower

It includes the construction of 112-studios, apartments, five town homes, a podium, conference rooms, hotel rooms, restaurant, and parking and related facilities and the installation of elevators and safety systems.

Gagnon Law Urban Planners Ltd has been appointed as planning consultant, McMillan LLP as legal advisor, Cosburn Nauboris Limited as landscape architect, Novus Environmental Inc as environmental consultant,MMM Group Limited as transportation and storm water manager, and Era Architects and Core Architects Inc as designers for the project.

In November 2014, Amexon prepared a preliminary report of the project.

On January 7, 2015, McMillan LLP on behalf of Amexon submitted the preliminary report to the council.

On March 30, 2015, Gagnon & Law Urban Planners Ltd (G&L), on behalf of Amexon, submitted the detail plan and zoning applications to the Toronto City Council.

Planning activities are underway.
