Abstract

What effect has the negative media coverage about the California power crisis had on customer attitudes? We conducted a focus group and quantitative survey of residential customers in Las Vegas, Nevada to find out. We explored attitudes about energy deregulation and about two new technologies: hybrid electric vehicles, and home automation systems.
