Sarus Solar (Sarus), a joint venture between Canadian Solar Inc. (CSIQ), Guycan Solar (Guycan) and Mackie Research Capital Corporation (MRC), along with Neelkanth Solar Energy a subsidiary of Neelkanth Group is planning to build a solar farm in Shahpur, Thane, Maharashtra, India.
The project involves the construction of a 500MW solar power plant on 6.5ha of land.
It includes the construction of a substation and related infrastructure, the installation of solar panels, generators and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
Guycan will undertake the engineering, procurement and construction, CSIQ will provide solar modules and MRC will arrange the required financing for the project.
