Project Insight - Oil and Gas Construction Projects: Europe
Europe’s oil and gas industry is mature compared to some developing regions, although the emergence of Russia as a global force and exporter of natural gas is a phenomenon which has gathered pace since the early 1990s.
According to recent studies, UK North Sea oil and gas reserves may only last another decade unless new fields are found and developed, with the onshore fracking industry unlikely to make up much of the shortfall.
This report provides detailed analysis, information and insights based on 188 CIC projects in Europe, including detailed metrics on the region's oil and gas construction projects (as tracked by CIC) split by country and value and by type of project, pipeline, refinery etc. Country profiles are provided for the top 10 countries including Russia, Norway and the UK.
Timetric’s Construction Intelligence Center (CIC) is currently tracking oil and gas construction projects in Europe with a total value of US$382.7 billion. Of this, US$227.4 billion is in the execution stage.
