The Ministry of Energy, Laos (MoE) is planning to undertake the development of the Nam Mo Hydroelectric Power Plant at in Xiengkhouang province of Laos.
The project involves the construction of a hydroelectric power plant of a 70MW.

Vietnam's EVN International signed a MoU with MoE for conducting a feasibility study. Feasibility study of the project commenced in May 2010 and completed at the end of 2012.
Project is expected to be completed by 2020.
Scope
The project involves the construction of a 70MW hydroelectric power plant at Vientiane in Xiengkhouang province of Laos.
