The Government of Tanzania (GoT) is planning to undertake the Mbeya Geothermal Power Plant Development project in Tanzania.
The project involves the construction of a 200MW geothermal power plant. The project will be developed in two phases of 100MW each.
The project will include the drilling of wells, construction of a power house and the installation of transformers, generators, and the laying of transmission lines and pipelines.
