LotusWorks - Summit Ridge I, LLC (LotusWorks), a subsidiary of Lotus Group USA, Inc. plans to undertake a wind power plant in Dufur, Wasco County, Oregon, the US.

The project involves the construction of a 194MW wind farm on 10,117ha of land. It includes the construction of an operation and maintenance building, 31km of access roads and related facilities, the installation of 72 wind turbines, transformers and wind towers and the laying of a 230kV transmission line.

On August 19, 2011, the Energy Facility Siting Council (EFSC) of the State of Oregon approved and issued the site certificate authorizing the construction and operation.

In August 2014, LotusWorks applied to the Oregon Department of Energy (ODE) seeking permission to extend the August 19, 2014, deadline to begin construction by two years. Under the terms, LotusWorks also seeks to reduce the maximum number of wind turbines from 87 to 72, reduce the peak generating capacity from 200MW to 194MW, and increase the maximum height of the turbines and blades.

On September 19, 2014, ODE held public consultations on the revised proposals.

In August 2015, ODOE council approved an amendment to the site certificate and extended the construction deadline, reduced the maximum number of wind turbines and capacity.

On February 11, 2016, Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE) received Request for Amendment #2 to the project Site Certificate from LotusWorks.

On August 30, 2016, ODOE issued the proposed order, which recommends that EFSC approves the amendment request.

With Amendment #2, LotusWorks has requested to transfer the site certificate from LotusWorks to Summit Ridge Wind LLC and extend the construction start and completion deadlines by two years.

EFSC is in the process of transferring the site certificate from LotusWorks-Summit Ridge I, LLC to Summit Ridge Wind Holdings, LLC.
