Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe (CRST), Crow Creek Sioux Tribe (CCST), Oglala Sioux Tribe (OST), Rosebud Sioux Tribe (RST), Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate (SWO), Yankton Sioux Tribe (YST), Standing Rock Sioux Tribe (SRST) and Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe (FSST) are planning to undertake the construction of a wind power project in Union County, South Dakota, the US.

In January 2014, SRST and FSST joined the other six tribes in developing.
In March 2015, a public hearing was held.
On July 16, 2015, Oglala Sioux Council approved the proposal to include eight tribes, OST, Crow Creek Sioux Tribe, Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe, Rosebud Sioux Tribe, Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate, Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and Yankton Sioux Tribe.
