APA Group is undertaking the construction of a solar photovoltaic (PV) farm in Queensland, Australia.
The project involves the construction of 110MW solar farm. It includes the construction of access tracks, electrical substations, installation of 400,000 solar panels and the laying of transmission lines.

In December 2015, Development Approval (DA) was granted by the Western Downs Regional Council.
In January 2016, the project was shortlisted to progress to the next stage of the Federal Government’s ARENA large-scale PV funding initiative.
On March 21, 2016, RCR Tomlinson Ltd (RCR) was awarded an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) contract to provide design and engineering services.
Upon successful completion of ECI work, obtaining of various regulatory approvals, achievement of grant funding from Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and receipt of final investment decision (FID), RCR would enter into a design and construct contractor for the development of the proposed solar farm.
The project received development approval from the Western Downs Regional Council in the first quarter of 2016.
In July 2016, the project was invited by the ARENA to submit a full application under its Large Scale Solar (LSS) Competitive Round.
ARENA announced that the project won support in its LSS funding round. ARENA will fund US$15 million towards the project.
RCR Tomlinson Ltd awarded US$175 million contract on May 2, 2017, to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) work for the project. APA Group has been appointed as the design-build contract for the project in May 2017.
Powerlink is undertaking construction of transmission lines.
APA Group secured approvals from the Western Downs Regional Council on September 19, 2017.
On January 23, 2018, construction works commenced on transmission lines.
Construction activities are underway with completion scheduled in 2018.
