Agence de Developpement des Energies Renouvelables en CI (ADERCI) is planning to build three hydroelectric power stations on the Sassandra river downstream in Côte d’Ivoire.
The project involves the construction of three power stations with a total capacity of 540MW on the Sassandra river, as well as three dams, powerhouses, substations, reservoirs and access roads, the installation of turbines, generators and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
A US$1,900 million accordance was under discussion between the Turkey-based MNG Holding Group and the government of Côte d’Ivoire for the construction of the three hydroelectric power plants.

Gribo Popoli (112MW), Louga (280MW) and Boutoubre (156MW) are the three power plants planned on Sassandra River. One of the three dams to be executed by the platinum company will have the capability to generate 112 MW power.
ADERCI is looking for private investors to implement the project.
