Apex Clean Energy (ACE) is planning to build a wind farm in Henry County, Indiana, the US.
The project involves the construction of an 180MW wind power plant on an 11,331ha of land. Plans call for the turbines to be located 402.3 to 804.67m apart on active farmland.
The project includes the construction of a substation, access roads, a control building and other related infrastructure, the installation of 90 wind turbines and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
In August 2014, ACE was in search for a company to sign PPA.
In September 2015, the project was placed on hold due to delay in obtaining necessary approvals.
On April 27, 2016, Henry County Council (HCC) approved 10-year tax abatement for the project.
