Macro - Country Economic Forecasts - Virgin Islands (UK)

The arrest of British Virgin Islands (BVI) Premier Andrew Fahie on drug smuggling charges and the damning conclusions of an enquiry into the governance of the Islands could damage the reputation of the BVI as a hub for offshore finance. The long-term decline of the offshore business incorporation sector and the adverse effects of global inflationary pressures also present headwinds.
