Mitsubishi, Ford, and Chrysler are some of the automobile manufacturers equipping their vehicles with developed prototypes of biometrics. According to the report, a paper released by the National Safety Council in 2014 stated that in 2013 one out of four accidents in the US was caused because of cellphone use while driving. These accidents can be reduced with the installation of voice recognition feature in cars, enabling drivers to answer or reject calls without picking up the phone manually. The option to control the music player in the car using this technology adds enhances safety. Although not all of these features are available in all models, by 2019 it is expected to become a standard feature in all cars.
