Abstract

Brief Excerpt from Industry Overview Chapter:

Companies in this industry manufacture fertilizers, herbicides and insecticides. Major companies include Bayer and BASF (Germany), Dow and Monsanto (US), Potash (Canada), and Syngenta (Switzerland).
