Zambia Railways Ltd (ZRL) is planning to build a railway line from Nseluka to Mpulungu in Zambia.
The project involves the construction of a 195km railway line from Nseluka to Mpulungu. It includes the construction of railway stations, platforms, bridges, administrative space and related infrastructure, the installation of signals and security systems, and the laying of railway tracks.
In 2011, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) signed a feasibility agreement with ZRL for the construction of the project.
In May 2015, CCECC signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with ZRL to develop the project.
