Urzad Morski w Slupsku (UMS) is planning to upgrade a port in Ustka, Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland.
The project involves the upgrade and modernization of a seaport on 33ha of land which will be developed in multiple stages.
The project includes the construction of a passenger terminal, an office space, jetties, storage units, loading and unloading facilities and related facilities.
On July 16, 2015, UMS unveiled the preliminary project plans.
In November 2015, UMS was undertaking a wave analysis and the preparation of an environmental report for the development.
On October 28, 2016, UMS signed an agreement with Association of Engineers and Technicians of the Water and Land Reclamation (Stowarzyszenie Inzynierów i Techników Wodnych i Melioracyjnych). Work on the document is divided into two stages.
The first stage of the work includes the initial diagnosis of ground conditions and study of Bathymetry. The purpose of the concept is to determine the location, the possibility of wariantowania investment, the scope and investment cost.
The second stage of the work includes the technical documentation and report on the impact of investment on the environment.
