Shenzhen Transport Public Facilities Construction Center (STPFCC) is constructing a 32.4km expressway with a design speed of 60km per hour in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.
The project involves construction of a two-way four-lane expressway, bridges, tunnels, interchanges and culverts, and the installation of signaling and lighting systems.
The project is being developed in two stages; the advance stage and the late stage. The advance stage work includes the construction of a 1,380m tunnel (the South tunnel of 625m and the North tunnel of 755m) and the 1,047m Buxin road reconstruction. The late stage work includes the construction of a 4,678m tunnel (the South tunnel of 2,465m and the North tunnel of 2,213m) and related facilities.
China Road and Bridge corporation Hong Kong Co, a subsidiary of China Road and Bridge corporation have been appointed as a construction contractor for the late stage.
On December 30, 2014, construction works commenced.
Construction activities are underway.
