Cumberland Area Economic Development Corp. has been appointed as study consultant on the project and RMD initiated the project with starting capital by the Messiah College board of trustees in May 2014.
RMD submitted a planning application to the Upper Allen Township Board of Commissioners on August 20, 2014 and on February 11, 2015, public hearing was held on the project.
On February 18, 2015, RMD secured zoning approval for the project.
In May 2017, RMD submitted a preliminary subdivision and land development plan to Upper Allen Township.
In October 2017, RMD received approvals from the Upper Allen Township for the first phase.
In November 2017, RMD secured US$700,000 funding from Multimodal Transportation Fund under the Commonwealth Financing Agency for road construction and transportation improvements for the project.
RMD is in the process of securing necessary approvals.
