Barker-Mill Estates (BME) is planning to undertake a mixed-use community project in Nursling, Southampton, Hampshire, the UK.

The project includes the construction of a 20,583m2 office complex, a 47,000m2 business facility spread over four plots of land, a 31,700m2 storage and distribution facility comprising a 27,600m2 storage and distribution center, 49 homes, an 80-bed care home, a restaurant, retail facility, parking and related facilities, and the installation of safety systems.

Turley Associates has been appointed as the planning consultant, Influence-cla Ltd as the landscape architect and master planner, Keygrove Chartered Surveyors as the legal advisers and Landmark Practice as the environmental consultant whose scope of work includes to manage an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and prepare the Environmental Statement (ES) for the project.

On February, 03, 2014, Turley Associates submitted the project plans to Test Valley Borough Council and Southampton City Council.

On October 28, 2014, a committee meeting was held for the project.

In December 2014, Test Valley Borough Council approved the plans for 20,583m2 office complex, to create 23 homes on the Bargain Farm site and two other 10,848m2 and 12,94m2 of light industrial use on the site and a restaurant in Adanac Triangle and rejected plans for the remaining four planning applications of the project.

In February 2015, BME entered into a deal with Test Valley Borough Council to extend the time period until December 16, 2015 for taking a decision on the eight planning applications of the project.

In March 2016, Test Valley Borough Council (TVBC) rejected the plans.

Planning activities are underway.
