A non-synchronous buck converter is a power converter used to step down high voltage to a lower voltage level. It is a switching power supply topology commonly used for power management and power conversion in electronic equipment. The working principle of a non-synchronous buck converter is as follows: a switching tube (usually a MOSFET) controls the on and off of the input voltage to achieve voltage conversion. When the switch is turned on, the input voltage stores energy through the inductor and is stored in the inductor; when the switch is turned off, the inductor releases the stored energy and provides it to the load through the output capacitor to achieve voltage reduction.
