Worldwide Traditional PC Market Shares, 4Q19: Market Grows 5.2% on Strength of Commercial and Consumer Shipments

This IDC study presents market share data for the worldwide traditional PC market for 4Q19."In the last quarter of 2019, the traditional PC market grew 5.2% as we saw stronger shipments across both commercial and consumer segments," said Lauren Guenveur, senior research analyst, Devices, IDC, "While commercial shipments continued to be boosted by the looming Windows 7 EOS date, the consumer market saw strong demand for newer and lighter form factors including ultraslim and, to a lesser extent, convertible form factors."
