Japan Servers for Enterprise IT Infrastructure Forecast 2015-2019

This study forecasts server spending and unit shipments in the Japan enterprise IT infrastructure market for 2015 to 2019. It also forecasts the Japan cloud IT infrastructure and Japan traditional IT infrastructure submarkets separately, as well as forecasts these submarkets at an even more fine-grained segment level. IDC Japan server group manager Satoshi Fukutomi explains: "As long as the base trend of moderate economic recovery continues, companies whose investment capacity has recovered will actively spend to turn their in-house IT platforms into clouds. Companies will also continue to look for business using innovation accelerators on the 3rd Platform. Going forward, there will be an increase in the number of concrete use cases for Big Data/analytics in Japan. New spending by companies challenging themselves with similar endeavors will underpin spending in the Japan enterprise IT infrastructure market."
