China National Technical Import and Export Corporation (CNTIC), National Petrochemical Company (NPC), a subsidiary of Iranian Petroleum Ministry and Petro Saman Zagros Company (PSZ) are planning to build a petrochemical plant in Mehran, Ilam Province, Iran.
The project involves the construction of a petrochemical plant. It includes the construction of a production unit, a central control building and related infrastructure, the installation of electrical and machinery equipment.
In December 2016, the Oil Ministry approved the proposal by the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China for providing 85% financing for the project and the remaining will be provided by PSZ.
