Description

We've kept our 2026 GDP growth forecast for Mexico at 1.4% despite the upward revision to GDP levels in H2 last year, as the possibility of an escalation of the Iran war poses downside risks to the outlook. A negative base effect removes 0.2ppts from our 2027 GDP forecast, which is now at 1.9%. Our forecasts are broadly in line with those of consensus.
