Macro - Country Economic Forecasts - Ireland

The threat to the Irish economy from high inflation remains pressing, as evidenced by the CPI measure reaching a 38-year high in October. But while inflation is feeding through to retail weakness and depressed consumer sentiment, survey evidence points to continued, if sluggish, GDP growth. Moreover, the jobs market remains robust.
