Description

We have lowered our 2026 GDP growth forecast for Denmark by 0.4ppts to 0.3%. The economy expanded in Q4, with growth supported by strong one-off government investment and positive gross-value add from pharmaceuticals despite the sharp contraction in actual production. A sharp correction expected in Q1 2026 prompted us to lower our annual GDP growth forecast. Currently, we expect the conflict escalation in the Middle East to have a limited impact on the Danish economy, but risks are skewed to the downside.
