Worldwide Cloud Infrastructure Semiconductor Market Shares, 4Q17: Growth Flattens

This IDC study provides an update on select semiconductor companies focused on delivering solutions for communications infrastructure in the cloud and IDC's estimate of the companies' quarterly revenue in the cloud and mobile communications infrastructure market for the past eight quarters up to the fourth calendar quarter of 2017, as well as key recent developments in the markets these companies serve."Revenue growth was flat in 4Q17 in the communications and networking semiconductor market," says Abhi Dugar, research director for Cloud and Enterprise Infrastructure Enabling Technologies and IoT Security. "Vendor revenue increased by 0.3% in the quarter to $2,168.7 million compared with $2,161.2 million in 3Q17.
