"The biggest challenge of the 3rd Platform in Western Europe is that vendors no longer have to convince partners about the opportunities inherent in it. It is more about making sure that their programs and enablement tools are targeted enough to cater to the different levels of 3rd Platform maturity and flexible enough to respond to their partners' needs as they become more committed and involved," said Margaret Adam, program director, IDC European Channels and Alliances.
