Japan Enterprise Mobility Market Business Trend Analysis 2014: End-to-End Solutions Required for Service Providers

This IDC study gives a general view of current conditions in the enterprise mobility market from the point of view of vendors and users, and considered market opportunities for service providers that are involved in offering solutions. Solution service providers will need to be able to help companies in overcoming the complexity of enterprise mobility systems, realizing flexibility and speed, and solving other issues. Needs for end-to-end solutions, upstream professional services, and managed services will continue to grow.

"Cloud and mobility have a high level of affinity, and users will require providers to offer these together as a one-stop solution. There is also a significant need for using mobility functions as managed services. Therefore, managed (or cloud) service providers will need to actively engage with mobility services," says Yoko Ono, senior market analyst, Communications, IDC Japan.
