IoT Survey 2015: How U.K. Organizations' IoT Attitudes and Priorities Compare with Their European Peers

This IDC study draws on the results of IDC's latest European Enterprise Survey. The survey was carried out in 3Q15 among 2,350 respondents worldwide, including 150 U.K CIOs/CXOs and line-of-business (LOB) decision makers across Europe. This report highlights buyer attitudes toward the Internet of things (IoT) in Europe. It details the U.K. respondents' attitudes and investment plans around IoT and connected-devices initiatives, comparing it with the larger worldwide picture. This report also provides key recommendations to technology vendors on how they can maximize their potential in this fast-growing market."As the IoT is an emerging topic, organizations have huge expectations from it, and vendors must aim at removing the complexity around IoT deployment by building rich technology partnerships to deliver solutions quickly and easily," said Archana Venkatraman, senior research analyst, IDC's European IoT practice.
