IDC PeerScape: Unified Communications & Collaboration as a Service — Key Practices for Migration to UCaaS

This IDC study introduces four key practices that will help CIOs and senior technology leaders ensure a smooth migration to UCaaS. Even though the cloud-based UC&C market is not very big right now, it is growing tremendously year over year, thanks to an increased focus on enterprise mobility, cloud adoption, and social media integration within enterprises. Having said that, it's not a path without challenges, and this IDC PeerScape highlights some key practices to guide enterprises on their journey and help them avoid some common pitfalls. "The focus on digital transformation across most of the industries is driving a fundamental change in the way we work, and UC&C is playing an important part in enabling that change by providing relevant tools and solutions," says Nikhil Batra, research manager, Telecommunications, IDC Asia/Pacific. "With enterprises getting more and more comfortable with the idea of cloud, migrating to UC as a Service (UCaaS) is the next logical step for them," Nikhil added.
