European Managed Services Market Share, 2019: The Pivot to Fast-Growing Markets Starts to Bear Fruit

This IDC Market Share study examines the 10 largest managed services providers in 2019 and how their market shares evolved in the context of market developments and dynamics. The top 10 managed service providers accounted for 42.8% of the 2019 market, an increase of 0.2% from 2018. "Despite challenging conditions, the 10 leading managed services providers were more successful in containing revenue losses than the market average as they hastened their pivot to fast-growing segments," said Francesca Ciarletta, senior research analyst, European Managed Cloud Services. "Looking ahead, IDC expects COVID-19 and Brexit to widen the gap between those who lead by adopting agile, flexible, and outcome-based approaches and those that do not."
