Plant-based fibre producer NextEvo has developed a fibre which is made using waste pineapple leaves
RadiciGroup has completed a research project to produce bio-based polyamide on a semi-industrial scale
adidas has collaborated with Allbirds in the development of a running shoe called
Futurecraft.Footprint which has a low carbon footprint
Nike has developed an environmentally sustainable trainer called Nike Air Zoom Alphafly

Skechers has developed a footwear collection called Our Planet Matters as a result of a partnership with The Nature Conservancy
Tropicfeel and Hyosung have collaborated in the development of a waterproof shoe which is made using environmentally sustainable materials
Vans has developed a collection of environmentally sustainable trainers called Eco Theory
Hēdoïne has developed ladder resistant tights which are biodegradable
W L Gore & Associates (Gore) has developed a new membrane for its Gore-Tex branded products
Zara will collaborate with LanzaTech in the development of a capsule collection which will be made using materials derived from recycled carbon dioxide (CO2)
Coloreel has collaborated with Madeira in the development of an environmentally sustainable thread
Polartec has developed a plant-based anti-odour treatment which will replace the company’s existing metal-based anti-odour treatment
