Description

We've nudged up our 2025 growth forecast for the Czech Republic by 0.1ppt to 2.2% after an upward revision of the Q2 growth data to 0.5% q/q. Growth is driven almost solely by rebounding consumer spending, and fixed investment and exports remain subdued. The latter is particularly an issue, as it drags on medium-term growth prospects. The economy is likely to slow in H2, leading to softer carryover into 2026. But growth should remain resilient at 1.8% next year.
