The three-wire Hall effect switch is a magnetic sensor based on the Hall effect. It outputs a switch signal (usually a three-wire system of power supply, ground and output) by detecting changes in the magnetic field. Its working principle is to use semiconductor materials to generate Hall voltage under the action of a magnetic field, triggering the internal comparator to achieve on-off control. Compared with mechanical switches, it has the advantages of no contact, long life (>100 million operations), vibration resistance and pollution resistance. It is widely used in position detection (such as automotive gearboxes, door and window limiters), speed measurement (motor encoders) and industrial automation.
