Upstream, TOPCon silver paste is typically formulated from silver powder + glass frit + organic vehicle (binders/solvents) + functional additives, where the glass frit chemistry and additive package are tuned to the target surface (TOPCon emitter/passivated contact) and firing/laser-assist conditions.
Downstream, it is used mainly in screen printing → drying → firing (co-firing) metallization flows that are widely adopted for industrial TOPCon; advanced variants include laser-assisted contact optimization (LECO) using specialized pastes to reduce recombination and widen process windows.
