Global Pulse Oximeter for Rats and Mice Market Growth 2025-2031
Description
The global Pulse Oximeter for Rats and Mice market size is predicted to grow from US$ 41.1 million in 2025 to US$ 69.9 million in 2031; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 9.3% from 2025 to 2031.
The impact of the latest U.S. tariff measures and the corresponding policy responses from countries worldwide on market competitiveness, regional economic performance, and supply chain configurations will be comprehensively evaluated in this report.
The rat and mouse pulse oximeter is a non-invasive monitoring device designed based on photoplethysmography (PPG) technology, and is developed specifically for the evaluation of physiological parameters of rodent laboratory animals (such as mice and rats). Its core function is to penetrate the tail or limb tissue of the animal through a dual-wavelength LED light source (660nm red light and 940nm infrared light), and use a photoelectric sensor to capture the dynamic changes in light absorption caused by vascular pulsation. After signal filtering and algorithm processing, it outputs key parameters such as arterial oxygen saturation (SpO₂), pulse rate (PR) and perfusion index (PI). The device avoids animal stress response through non-invasive design, uses adaptive filtering technology to eliminate hair interference and motion artifacts, and supports real-time monitoring of blood oxygen parameters in awake or anesthetized states. It is suitable for scenarios such as respiratory disease model construction, anesthesia depth assessment, and drug metabolism and kinetics research. Its measurement accuracy can usually reach ±2% SpO₂ error and ±1bpm pulse rate error, providing reliable data support for the analysis of the physiological state of experimental animals.
