Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW or TIG) is a type of arc welding method that uses argon or argon rich gas for protection and tungsten electrodes as electrodes. It uses the arc generated between the tungsten electrode and the workpiece to heat and melt the base material (while also melting the welding wire) to achieve welding. Argon gas is used to protect the weld metal and tungsten electrode melt pool from air oxidation in the arc heating zone. The three-phase TIG welding machine is a tungsten inert gas welding (TIG welding) equipment powered by a three-phase power supply. The working principle of the three-phase TIG welding machine is similar to that of the single-phase TIG welding machine, both of which provide electrical energy through the power supply. After adjustment by the control system, an electric arc is generated between the tungsten electrode and the workpiece to melt the metal and achieve welding. Meanwhile, inert gases (such as argon) enter the welding area through the gas path system to prevent adverse effects of oxygen in the air on the welding quality.
