It uses technologies like ultrasonic, laser, eddy current or spectral confocal techniques. The sensors obtain physical signals related to pipe thickness from outside the pipe. The data acquisition module collects these signals and the data transmission module sends them to the analysis and processing module, which calculates and presents the pipe thickness data and its changes, helping to evaluate the pipe's structural integrity and health condition. It's widely used in industries like chemical, petroleum and power.
