Line scan 3D camera is an industrial-grade visual device that obtains the three-dimensional contour of an object through linear laser scanning combined with high-speed imaging technology. Its working principle is as follows: the laser transmitter generates a linear laser and projects it onto the surface of the object. The high-speed CMOS sensor synchronously collects the deformed laser stripes, and reconstructs the cross-sectional contour of the object in real time through triangulation. With the continuous movement of the motion platform or robotic arm, the complete three-dimensional point cloud data is finally synthesized. This type of camera has the characteristics of fast scanning speed (up to tens of thousands of lines per second), high measurement accuracy (micrometer level), and strong resistance to ambient light interference. It is mainly used in industrial inspection (such as weld inspection, component size measurement), reverse engineering, and logistics sorting.
