A laser frequency stabilizer is a device used to stabilize the output frequency of a laser. It maintains a stable frequency output by feedback-controlling the frequency of the laser. A laser frequency stabilizer usually consists of the following main components: 1. Reference light source: used to provide a stable reference frequency, which can be a stable optical resonator or a stable optical frequency standard, such as a gas resonator or an optical Cavity lock. 2. Reference signal detector: used to detect the frequency of the reference light source and compare it with the output frequency of the laser. 3. Feedback control system: According to the output result of the reference signal detector, the frequency of the laser is adjusted to keep it consistent with the frequency of the reference light source. The working principle of the laser frequency stabilizer is to achieve stable control of the laser frequency by continuously adjusting the length of the resonant cavity of the laser or the operating temperature of the laser. When the frequency of the laser deviates from the reference frequency, the feedback control system will adjust the length of the resonant cavity or the operating temperature of the laser accordingly to make its frequency gradually approach the reference frequency, and finally achieve a stable frequency output.
