The Venturi Flow Meter is a flow meter based on measuring differential pressure. It consists of embedding a reduced-diameter conical restrictor (called a Venturi throat) in the passing pipe. When the fluid passes through the throat, the phenomenon of velocity increase and static pressure decrease occurs, and the two are calculated using Bernoulli"s law.
