The inductive electromagnetic sensor is a sensor that measures proximity and distance. It uses the principle of inductance change to detect the position, distance and direction of metal objects. It usually consists of two coils, one is called the transmitting coil and the other is called the receiving coil. The sending coil generates a magnetic field through an alternating current, and when a metal object enters this magnetic field, it causes a change in the induced current in the coil. The receiving coil detects this change and converts it into an electrical signal, enabling non-contact detection and measurement of metal objects.
